Always practicing with a metronome

Metronome is a device that produces metrical 'ticks' settable in beats per minute. Practicing with a metronome helps you to improve your skill far faster.  Start with the slowest tempo you can play clearly and continuously without mistake. Then slightly increase the tempo, and make sure you are still able to play the same stuff correctly,to the song's original tempo.  Find the hardest part that you always get stuck and practice particularly at the part. ( might be at somewhere between 2 chords) Someone criticise that practicing with metronome makes you being more mechanical.  Don't worry.  Just keep going.  At some point , you will play musically. Music will lead your way.  ^^ Now , I insist you to practice with a metronome. Find one and start playing.

Learn guitar from the song - Lost Stars - Adam Levine - intro-02chord / right hand

Lost stars - Adam Levine intro Lost stars intro chord F maj7 There are 4 bars intro If you don't know what is " bar" in music. I suggest you to clap your hand along the song and count 1-2-3-4   You will see you can count 1-4 four times (which equals to 4 bars) One-bar mostly have 4 beats inside Like this chart If you are totally beginner, I suggest you to play only one whole note in a bar. Play at beat 1 and leave it last to beat4 then play again on1 on next bar. Anyway, if you wanna play exactly like the original intro of Adam 's  This is how to play Right hand swing up and down on the 16th notes but only yellow highlight beats that pick touches the strings.  To make it easier listen to the clip I speed down the intro to50%  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVu_vS5pMbs
